To develop community among the church body and encourage spiritual development through small-group discussion, we have Sunday School classes before church.

We have a ministry specifically for women.

We have a ministry specifically for men.

CYF is our ministry to the middle-school and high-school youth in the church. We have a time of play and a Bible study. CYF gives our children an outlet for fellowship within the church body, so they can build relationships with each other and learn to encourage each other in their faith. We meet in a house dedicated to youth owned by the church called "The Rock", located on the corner of 5th and Exchange streets. We meet at 4:30 on Sunday evenings.

AWANA is a ministry focused on youth that meets at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg. There is a time for play, a message and verse memorization. The children work with their parents during the week to memorize their verses, and work through a schedule of verses they strive to say by heart. AWANA is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. AWANA is held on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

Before kids are old enough for AWANA, they may attend His Kids at the Baptist Church. This is held at the same time as AWANA. It is a ministry for children as well as their parents, giving them some free time away from the kids on Wednesday evenings. We encourage anyone in the community to bring their children to His Kids.

We offer a nursery for adults during Sunday School, church and most church events. We hold the following as a mission statement: "The church nursery should be an exciting and vital ministry in the church. It should be be a launching pad for nurturing the faith of the next generation." (taken from www.childrendesiringgod.com) We believe whole-heartedly in this mission statement, as seen by how well we've filled the nursery recently, and we feel strongly that we have a responsibility to the next generation.

During the summer, usually in June, there is a vacation Bible school offered for children. It is a week of activities during the day, with a theme, worship, activities and more.

During the summer the church sends our kids to a summer camp at Timberlake Ranch camp.
